Alessio Rastrelli

He got his Diploma in Magic and Illusionism after attending the three-year course of the same name (1999-2001), organised by the master Dario Moda. He boasts more than 200 performances since 1999 at theatres, town squares, private parties, conventions, inaugurations, restaurants, night clubs as well as charity shows, all over Italy. Since June 2001 he has been a member of the IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians). Since 2002, he has combined his conjuring acts with the study of theatrical subjects (acting, recital, improvisation and mime), by attending firstly a three-year course at Ann Bolens Company’s Recital and Acting School, Turin, and then attending some specialised courses with the same theatre Company.

In 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2009, he took part in the Professional Conjuring Course, organised and led by Tony Binarelli. In the 2009 edition, he won the Stage contest, and was awarded the Vanni Bossi trophy. In October 2003, he competed in the 7th Magic Festival in Cusset, France and won 1st prize in the Close-Up contest as well as the Mister X Trophy. The following year he took part in the international competition Sam’di La Magie in Auxerre, France with a stage show of great illusionism, performed with fellow conjurors, Massironi and Testini from Milan, and with his partner Sofia. In March 2010 he won second prize in the international Close-Up contest at the XXXIII World Magic Seminar in LAS VEGAS.

His repertoire includes Close-Up performances, restaurant magic, stage magic and magic for children.
