How old should I be before entering the casino?

Entrance is only allowed to persons of 18 years of age and over. Under eighteens are strictly prohibited.

How do I enter the Casino?

You can obtain a free entrance ticket by showing up to date and valid ID. Those requesting an entrance ticket are photographed and, if so requested, the electronic photo may be disposed of. Access to the casino will be denied to persons not providing correct identity or refusing to be photographed.

What sort of clothing is admissible in the Gambling House?

Can I buy Chips with a money card and/or Credit Card?

Inside the Casino chips can be bought with a money and/or Credit Card at any of the cash desks found in each of the Game Rooms. The only Credit Card we do not accept is AMERICAN EXPRESS. The BARCLAY CARD allows purchase of up to a maximum of 250 Euros daily. We accept BANCO POSTA, but the Italian Post is rather restrictive.

Who owns the Casino?

The Valley of Saint-Vincent Casino belongs to the Independent Aosta Valley Region and management is entrusted to a joint stock company. The Aosta Valley Region holds 99% of the Casino de la Vallée S.p.A shares and the remaining 1% is held by the Municipality of Saint-Vincent.

Which categories of people are forbidden access to the gaming room and the games?

Entry to the Casino and access to the gaming room and the games, are forbidden for the following categories: UNDER 18s, SOLDIERS IN UNIFORM, ITALIAN CITIZENS RESIDENT IN VALLE D’AOSTA (Valle d'Aosta residents can enter specific areas of the Gambling House. They will join in the electronic games tournaments at the "Evolution" room and in games such as and Texas Poker Hold'Em which are organized periodically by the Company), PEOPLE WELL-KNOWN FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL PARTICIPATION IN GAMBLING, PEOPLE BANNED BY THE MANAGEMENT.

Which objects are not allowed to be brought in?

Entry is forbidden if carrying: WEAPONS, CAMERAS AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. Owners of such objects must leave them in the safety deposit boxes in the cloak room, before entering the Casino. FURTHERMORE, DOGS ARE FORBIDDEN ENTRY.

What do you need to obtain an entry card?

It is necessary to show a valid identity document in order to obtain an entry card. The entry card is personal and not transferable, any illicit use will result in a permanent ban on entry to the Casino and possible legal sanctions. The management reserves the right its personnel in charge to make opportune checks. Those improperly dressed will be refused entry.

What are the opening hours of the office which issues entry cards?

The office which issues the entry cards has the following opening hours: Weekdays and Sunday opens: 2 p.m. closes: 2.15 a.m. - Friday opens: 2 p.m. closes: 2.45 a.m. - Saturday opens: 2 p.m. closes: 3.15 a.m.

Are my photographic images taken at the entrance preserved?

For security reasons, and in order to reduce waiting times at the entrance and offer high-quality reception services, since 22 April 2009, the Company Management has operated a system of collection and preservation of photographic images of customers. Verbal consent to preserve them will be requested and if consent is given, the worker will fill in the appropriate field on the privacy consent form, for the conservation of photographic images for a period of two years after the last visit. If consent is not given, they cannot be preserved for more than seven days, in accordance with the relative directive.

The use of mobile telephones is permitted?

It is forbidden to take electronic equipment into the gaming room. The use of mobile telephones is permitted if discrete, and only in the areas not designated for gaming.
