BASIC RULES FOR ITALIAN TELESINA POKER

STATEMENT OF REGULATIONS

Italian Teresina poker is played with a deck of 32 cards.
A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 players can take part in the game.
All transactions are overseen by the croupier.
VALUE OF THE COMBINATIONS
ROYAL FLUSH
Sequence of 5 cards of the same suit.
FOUR OF A KIND
4 cards of the same rank.
FLUSH
Any 5 cards of the same suit.
FULL HOUSE
Three of a kind plus a one pair.
STRAIGHT
A consecutive sequence of 5 cards of different suits.
THREE OF A KIND
3 cards of the same rank.
TWO PAIR
2 pairs of cards of the same rank.
ONE PAIR
Two cards of the same rank.
HIGH CARD HAND
5 cards which don’t fit any of the above combinations.
If two or more players have the same score, the one with the highest-scoring hand wins. When they are exactly the same, the pot is split. No suit is dominant over another (e.g. a royal flush of hearts vs a royal flush of spades and the pot is split).
THE RAKE
The rake is deducted by the croupier before the pot is given to the winner. It is about 2.5% of the pot, rounded up to the nearest €5.
