February at Saint-Vincent Casino: increase in the number of visitors and the amount of games played, the crisis penalizes the American Games section.

The month of February 2010 finishes positively in terms of attendance at Casino de la Vallée for the ninth consecutive month.

The entrance figures show 40,151 visitors with an increase of 1.55%, compared to the same period in 2009. As a result, annual figures show a positive trend of 10.4% (+ 9,595 visitors).

There is more positive data related to the amount of games played, which increased in the month (+2.96%), specifically, as has been the case for a number of months, for the Electronic Games, where the planned investments are producing the expected results. The innovation of the product is continually updated: new, latest generation slot machines, Fort Knox and Indiana Jones, have been installed in the last few days.

The amount of American Games played has fallen, but these are aimed at those most hit by the recent economic crisis. American Roulette and Craps show improvement; whilst the result for Punto Banco, which has been experiencing good growth for a long time, suffered in February due to the sizeable wins obtained by the most loyal clients. The Electronic Games show a slight decrease in terms of results (-1.19%), but continue to show a positive trend in the annual figures (+2.54%).

The situation with the French games is different and the investments made for the benefit of customers are producing some good results. This is particularly true for Chemin de fer, which experienced an increase in the amount of play in February thanks to the organisation of a second Competition, which was particularly appreciated by the most loyal players of traditional games.

Finally, a negative period is reported for Trente Quarante and Fairoulette.

The gross income in February from games was 6,734,959, which is in line with the Annual Business Plan. The 2010 subtotal is -4.1% compared to the same period in 2009.

There are a number of events planned for the month of March so as to attract customers’ attention: two Chemin de fer competitions, the 3rd round of the First Tournament and the 2nd Heat of the Rally, Women’s Day celebrations, the Fiorella Mannoia concert, weekend dates with the Zero Double Zero talent show, Happy Hour on the Slot machines, the Weekly Texas Hold’em Tournaments and also the stage of Poker Grand Prix 2010, in collaboration with Gioco Digitale.
