The Saint-Vincent award for Journalism was inaugurated in 1948, one year after the Casino opened. It was the very first prestigious event promoted by the Aosta Valley region and organized by the Casino. The award set the tone for many similar events and projects later organized by the Casino, in its successful and innovative combination of culture and glamour.
