Income of more than 9 million euros in August at Saint-Vincent Casino

The month of August closed with a comforting result at Casino de la Vallée in Saint-Vincent.

The EVOLUTION Room has produced the longed for result, with important peaks in presence on a daily and a monthly basis, which are related to the success of the games on offer for the Customers.

The gross income from games was 9,298,568 Euros, a positive and encouraging figure which is steadfast in the negative economic situation that has had a big impact on tourism during the traditional August holidays. The figure confirms the good health of Saint-Vincent Casino.
The monthly figure is slightly lower (-3%) than 2009 but the numerous wins collected by the Roulette players as a result of the high volume of play at the tables, have impacted on income. The wins have been partly offset by the excellent performance of Punto Banco (+79,5%), which, with record income at € 1,571,498, was the best ever result, and by Trente Quarante (+ €315,116), whose new version “Midi” has been very much appreciated and played a lot.
The Electronic Games showed a small increase and they certainly benefited from the renovation and extension of the electronic area resulting from the opening of the new EVOLUTION Room.
The annual progression of gross income from games basically shows a break even situation; the results for August are in any case in line with the Business Plan 2010.
The Volume of Games showed a slight decrease (-1%) in the month, which is however positive against the annual base (+2%).
The Entrance figures for the Games Room recorded over the month were 69,717 (-0.6%).
Both the Volume of Games and the Entrances were affected by the way the days fell last month, with pre-holiday days at the beginning of the month, and due to the way in which 15th August fell.
September opens with an undoubtedly very important change; the finalisation of the merger which officially and definitively ratifies the birth of “Saint-Vincent Resort & Casino”. This finally sees the unification of the management of the Casino and the Grand Hotel Billia hotel complex.
From an entertainment point of view, The following are scheduled for the month which has just started: two Chemin de fer competitions (the First Round of the 3rd Tournament and the 6th Heat of the Rally), the Weekly Texas Hold’em Tournaments with an extended calendar, thanks to the growing success in terms of participation and to access to the new POKER ROOM inside the EVOLUTION Room, the Cesare Cremonini concert (Friday 17th September) and the usual weekend dates with the Casino’s Talent Show, “ZERO DOUBLE ZERO”.
