It is somewhat difficult for a Westerner to understand the full meaning of Chinese New Year. In the past, it was a time for reuniting and renewing the spirit at the same time. Chinese New Year is followed by the start of the spring and therefore it is a moment of renewed fertility of the earth, a wonderful event for all the Chinese people of the past. Also called the Spring Holiday, New Year marked a turning point in business: all debts had to be paid and one could hope for a better life and for greater success in the coming year. On the 13th and 14th of February, to celebrate Saint Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year, five artists will be amazing the casino clients, drawing their portraits and reading their futures. The artists, dressed in hearts, will be the theme of an unforgettable Chinese New Year characterised by love and luck. From 8 p.m. on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th, look for the lucky hearts in the Casino de la Vallèe in Saint Vincent, and as well as enjoying yourself, you could also get some lucky promotickets to tempt fate and win.
