Conjurers - Gianni Lorya

He started his “magical” activities in Bologna in 1978 and immediately started his collaboration with the Bologna Illusionists Club, which he became president of in 1984. Since 1990 he has been on the Board of Directors of the Italian Magic Club and he became Vice President of it in 2003.

He manages the Illusionists Club and the organisation of more than 70 events every year with 20 conferences, and since 1990 he has organised the Alberto Sitta Trophy. He also works with various Italian clubs giving training and spreading Italian Magic in all its forms.

The comedy character of his shows, allows him to offer his artistic contribution in a wide variety of situations involving magicians and spoken magic. He specialises in both Cabaret Magic and Micro-magic at tables.

An hour of Fun Cabaret Magic and an evening of Micro-magic at the tables is his “Magic Motto”, where the game of Pom-Pom and the Multi-score Cards, seasoned with a pinch of fun, are the protagonists together with his magic word… ALETOPITOPATICO…!!!

Variety artist - Gibbo

• 2004. I started doing shows in hotels and night spots.
• 2005. I performed in the streets and town squares all over Italy. I got work experience in “Lo spettacolo di strada” with Peter Weyel.
• I attended international street art festivals.
• 2006. I gave street performances in Italy, France, Slovenia and Croatia.
• I worked on the programme “Reality Circus” on Channel 5. I took part in the “Invasioni poetiche della città” project with FNAS (National Federation of Street Arts), directed by Sandro Berti (Banda Osiris). I performed in shopping centres all over Italy, took part in numerous International Festivals, and got work experience in clowns with Rita Peluso and in juggling with Zio Aldo Viral.
• 2007. I continued working all over Italy, taking part in various festivals. I attended Philip Radice’s “Performing Arts University” in Turin, attended courses in acrobatics at “Flik”, the circus school in Turin, and took part in the recording of a music video for “Orange Lemon”.
• 2008. I performed at the Venice Carnival, continued doing street performances, went to various international street art festivals and attended a theatre and circus school.

Cabaret artist - Cristiana Maffucci

Education:

• 2001: graduated in clinical psychology from the University of Turin
• 2007: four-year specialisation in psychotherapy at the Adleriana di Psicoterapia school in Turin, theatre therapist

Artistic education:

• 2000-2003: Course in theatrical studies at the Teatranza artedrama di Moncalieri association in Turin, studying in depth the following disciplines: recital, body expression, improvisation, acting, use of the voice, comedy, classical theatre and contemporary theatre.
• 2003: graduated from the Teatranza artedrama association.
• Since September 2004: registered as a professional actress at “La compagnia comica di Giorgio Molino”, Turin.
• Aptitude for singing, using dialects, improvisation and body expression.

Artistic Experience:

• 2000: theatre performance “La cantatrice calva” by Ionesco, in the role of Signora Smith, directed by Claudio Zucca at the Matteotti Theatre, Moncalieri.
• 2001: theatre performance “Le troiane” by Euripide, in the role of Cassandra, directed by Davide Cuccuru, at the Matteotti Theatre, Moncalieri.
• 2002: theatre performance “L’ultima recita di Petrolini”, directed by Enrico Fasella, at the Matteotti Theatre, Moncalieri.
• Since July 2003: actress at the “Arte della commedia” Association, La Loggia (Turin).
• 19 June 2004: finalist in the international contest, “Premio Hystrio alla vocazione 2004”, organised by Milan City Council.
• 2005: finalist in the National Contest, “Aquilegiablu”.
• March 2006: finalist at the Festival Nazionale del cabaret in rosa.
• 2008: finalist at the National Cabaret Festival.
• 2008: finalist at the National festival, “Comunque Anomali”.
• 2008: Role of Violet in the film Giallo directed by Dario Argento.
• 2009: finalist in the national contest for emerging Stars (second place).
• since 2008: Zelig lab on the road Workshop in Turin, artistic director: Andrea Midena.

• 20 March 2010: debut of her new show “60, 60, 60 terno secco”, which she acts in and directs.

Performances are at 9.30 p.m. and 11 p.m. and each performance will last for approximately 30 minutes.
