ZERO DOPPIO ZERO TALENT SHOW 30-31 july

Variety artist - Stefano Ricca

altragiocoleria-250.jpgStefano is an enthusiastic juggler who, since 1997, has been performing on the streets and in theatres and anywhere where people want to have a good time! By enjoying himself he entertains others and transmits that natural energy which is strangely characteristic of him.

Some information:

Since 1998 he has been a circus teacher of CIRCUS SPORTICA at the Palestra Sportica in Pinerolo, with whom he has been involved in the creation and production of the circus theatre shows “ASSENZIO” in 2002, “LAVORI IN CORSO” in 2004, “METAMORFOSI” in 2007, “SCATOLA” in 2010, of the lively and colourful parade “PARADA COLORADA” and of numerous other street shows. In August 2005 with CIRCUS SPORTICA he stopped off in Uganda for the project “SORRISI IN VIAGGIO”, performing his specially-created show in numerous schools.

He works with public bodies (schools, libraries, Val Pellice Mountain Community…) and private organisations, holding courses on circus and theatrical techniques.

He gained important circus experience when collaborating with MEDINI CIRCUS, where he performed with stilts and the Diablo.

Since 1999 he has attended national and European juggling conventions, where he always gets new stimulus for his work.

In 2005 he got his diploma from the circus art school FLIC in Turin; during the two-year course he got a greater insight into the techniques of acrobatics, balancing acts, aerial disciplines, juggling, ballet, modern dance, theatre (at Phillip Radice’s studio) and music.

He took part in the 2004/2005 season of “TUTTI QUELLI CHE CADONO” at the “TEATRO DELLA CADUTA”.

Since 2005 he has been a teacher at the “Piccolo Circo”, Milan.

He conceived and produced the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions of “FESTIVAL DELLE ARTI SOSPESE”; a circus festival dedicated to aerial disciplines. The event was sponsored by TORRE PELLICE COUNCIL, TURIN PROVINCIAL COUNCIL AND PIEDMONT REGIONAL COUNCIL.

His image was used in the exhibition “Fabrizio De André”, produced by “Studio Azzurro”, Milan.

He acted in the videoclip “Malamoreno” by Arisa, Sanremo 2010, produced by Red Rum.

He has performed at various festivals, including:
3rd, 4th and 5th International Street Theatre Festivals, in Turin,

His shows:

“LA SCATOLA MAGICA” (“THE MAGIC BOX”): Strange objects come out of a box which moves by itself. Stefano tries to use them and, like magic, they start flying…

“STORIE DI UN GIOCOLIERE” (“STORIES OF A JUGGLER”): But how can a juggler juggle when he hasn’t got his equipment? If he’s got his shoes and his hat, then the game’s on!

“IL DIABLO ELEGANTE” (“THE SOPHISTICATED DIABLO”): Virtuosity in the folds of a dark suit…

“IL MAGO BURLONE” (“THE PRANKSTER MAGICIAN”): What will jump out of his hat? Discover in between amazing magic acts and fun tricks…

“LUOMORAGNOtuttoattaccato” (“SPIDERMANalloneword”): Performance of urban acrobatics, which transforms the city backdrop into a stage, decontextualising it and creating mind-blowing situations.

“RITMO INFUOCATO” (“EXCITING RYTHM”): When the rhythm hots up and the fire dances, you’re ready for a hypnotic and striking journey through sensations and emotions!
In collaboration with African percussionists.

“MAGIE AEREE” (“AERIAL MAGIC”): If the stage isn’t sufficient for illusions, why not climb up to four metres to make a scarf disappear?

“TRIO LES PENDULES”: The union of strength, elasticity and melody, produced the performance of this surprising trio, capable of exciting and endearing the public with their movements.

“EMOZIONI SOSPESE” (“SUSPENDED EMOTIONS”): Living paintings which recreate scenes from daily life to hang where we like them most.

“EMOZIONI AD ALTI PASSI” (“HIGH-ALTITUDE EMOTIONS”): From the giant man to the ostrich jockey, there are many ways to end up with your head held high and your mouth open.

Conjurers - Ivan

ivan-250.jpg“Young, but promising”. Ivan, real name Pier Giuseppe Ansalma, started practising illusionism at the age of 11. Now, at seventeen, he can be considered a promising young man in the world of magic.

Born in an artistic family, he has been keen on magic since childhood, starting with simple tricks and moving gradually on to more complex and sophisticated conjuring feats, improving his skills of expression thanks to his regular performances.

Specialised in stage magic, he displays enthusiasm and appeal in his shows, which capture the attention of the audience, involving them in the magic of the performance.

Cabaret artists - Piga & Sonix

piga-sonix-250.jpgAfter a chance meeting in 2007 an artistic partnership was born between Laura Pigozzo (from Veneto) and Sonia Pullini (from Naples), creating the comic duo ‘LaPiga&LaSonix’. Both have been involved in theatre for years and chose the world of cabaret by pure chance after a series of mistakes during the production of shows of fairy tales for children.
And so a genre of comedy which is original and surreal, but at the same time real, was born.

In September 2008, they realised the need to focus on cabaret stages, which they immediately did through active participation in artistic workshops in Lombardy and Piedmont (Cab41, Le Comiche Zelig, Femina Ridens, Ridinblu, Ca’ Bianca, etc.). In May 2009 they were among the 8 finalists at “Festival Nazionale del Cabaret in Rosa” in Novara, and that August, they were among the finalists at the XIII edition of the “Festival del cabaret di Martina Franca”.

Currently with crazy modesty, the scent of astonishing eccentricity and drunk with joy they are creating their “Circo(lo) vizioso delle meraviglie delle fatte dei fiori” (“Vicious Circle of the wonders of types of flowers”). This work in progress of a bizarre and frenzied collection of dreamlike stories in the fantastical world of fairy tales has already been successfully performed in some tourist resorts in the summer of 2009.

Encouraged by pure entertainment and the fast developing personal and artistic harmony, they are also involved in theatre, which they call the battery of their life. They teach courses and shows for children, teenagers and adults at centres for disabled children in Lombardy and Piedmont.

Performances are at 9.30 p.m. and 11 p.m. and each performance will last for approximately 30 minutes.
