Conjurers - Marlene

Catherine Delamotte, stage name MARLENE, was born in Paris in 1963. She was attracted to the stage from a young age, given her strong passion for dancing, which she later abandoned due to her studies and work.

Meeting Dario Moda, now her husband, allowed her to appear on stage and not only as his assistant, but adding moments of dance and personal magic, which not only supplemented the performance but enriched it. As time went on, her role as assistant conjurer was getting too small for her, and so she started to prepare a solo magic act, where dance (her main passion) fused with magic to become a single show.

And so she invented the act “Marlene mon Amour”, which recalls the great Marlene Dietrich and which gave her the opportunity of winning some important awards, and performing on various stages, not only in Italy.
